brussels sprouts in celery sauce
I get a lot of my recipes from when I was a kid. Like Brussels Sprouts I could not stand them, but had to eat them.I decided to make the same recipe I hated and add my own twist to it.

Ingredients
- 2 quarts brussels sprouts
- 1 1/8 teaspoons sea salt
- 2 1/4 cups boiling water
- 1 1/2 cups diced celery
- 6 tablespoons butter (not margarine)
- 6 tablespoons flour
- - dash of pepper
How To Make brussels sprouts in celery sauce

Step 1Cook Brussels sprouts until tender. Drain very well. Add salt to water stir in celery. Cook for 15 minutes drain well, reserving celery liquid.

Step 2Melt butter blend in flour. Combine celery liquid with enough milk to measure 3 cups liquid stir into flour mixture.

Step 3Cook until smooth and thick, stirring constantly.

Step 4Add celery and pepper pour over Brussels sprouts. Yield 8 servings
