broccoli slaw
This is a wonderful salad that I almost always serve at barbeques. Broccoli is so good for you and this is a very tasty and interesting blend of flavors...so many people that do not even eat broccoli normally have asked me for the recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 package broccoli slaw mix
- 1 cup mayonaisse
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice or cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup red onion,chopped medium
- 1/2 cup cranraisins( i like golden raisins better)
- 1/3 cup bacos (imitation bacon bits)
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
How To Make broccoli slaw

Step 1In a large bowl whisk mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar(or lemon juice) until well blended.

Step 2Add remaining ingredients and toss well.Refrigerate at least one hour to allow dressing to thicken and flavors to meld.

Step 3Keep in mind that you can lighten the calories in this recipe by using low fat or no fat mayo.
