Broccoli Rice Casserole

1 pkg16 oz. frozen chopped broccoli, cooked & drained
1 pkg5 oz. bag mahatma yellow rice, cooked
1 can(s)cream of chicken soup
1 smallonion, chopped
1/2 stickbutter, melted
2 cgrated cheddar cheese
3/4 cfrench fried onion rings (topping)
How to Make Broccoli Rice Casserole
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl and stir to mix, then pour into a greased 9X13 X2 inch casserole dish. Bake in oven for 30 minutes, then add onion rings and bake an additional 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
- In a hurry to make dinner, this is a great tasting side item.
