broccoli/cauliflower with spaghetti
This is a family favorite and very healthy too. We eat this as a one pot meal. Serve with a generous helping of Romano cheese.

Ingredients
- 1 bunch broccoli
- 1 - head of cauliflower
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 6 cups water
- 1/2 package thin spaghetti
- 1/3 cup olive oil, extra virgin
- - romano cheese, grated
How To Make broccoli/cauliflower with spaghetti

Step 1Add 6 cups water to 8 qt stock pot.

Step 2Add garlic, onion, salt and pepper. Turn on heat and bring to boil, then reduce heat to simmer.

Step 3Cut stem off of broccoli and quarter. Remove core of cauliflower and quarter. Add to pot. Drizzle with olive oil, cover and cook for 30 minutes.

Step 4Break spaghetti in half and add to pot and cook for another 10 minutes or until tender. You can add the whole package of spaghetti to stretch this meal for a bigger family.
