Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 12 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium shallot, peeled and chopped
- 1/4 cup sherry (not cooking sherry)
- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
How To Make broccoli and mushrooms

Step 1In large skillet, heat oil over medium. Add mushrooms and shallots, cook 8 minutes or until mushrooms are beginning to brown.

Step 2Add sherry and cook 2 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed, stirring often.

Step 3Remove mushrooms from skillet with slotted spoon. Set aside.

Step 4Add broccoli, salt, and broth. Bring to boil, reduce heat to simmer, cover, and cook 10 minutes or until broccoli is crunchy but soft.

Step 5Return mushrooms to skillet. Add pepper. Toss vegetables to mix. Serve.
