broccoli slaw casserole squares

This is a recipe using Dole's Broccoli Slaw with shredded carrots,and broccoli. It has been in the fridge long enough- so it has become this recipe today. Smells and tastes great..having chicken and mashed potatoes too.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces bag broccoli slaw (i used dole's)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped fine
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped fine
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan
  • 1 cup bisquick baking mix
  • - sprinkling of sesame seeds for garnish

How To Make broccoli slaw casserole squares

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 350^. Spray either a 10 inch or 8 inch square pan or casserole dish;set aside. --- Lightly beat eggs in a large bowl; add herbs, oil, butter, salt, and garlic to the bowl and combine.
  • Step 2
    In a small skillet saute the onions until soft, then add onions,cheese, and slaw to the bowl and mix to coat thoroughly. Add the bisquick and mix again.
  • Step 3
    Pour mixture into prepared dish, and spread evenly. Sprinkle top with sesame seeds. Bake for 35 minutes or until top is turning golden brown. NOTE: if you want to use regular broccoli , be sure to chop into small pieces.
