The spread that goes on the bread is wonderful. I used sweet Italian sausage when I made this recipe and it paired well with the asparagus. This is one very yummy side dish.

Ingredients
- 24 stalks fresh asparagus, ends trimmed
- 4 ounces cream cheese with chives
- 4 ounces blue cheese
- 1/4 cup diced red radish
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons mango chutney
- 12 slices soft bread
- 1/4 pound bulk Italian sausage, browned, crumbled
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
How To Make blooming asparagus roll-ups

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2Stir together cream cheese, blue cheese, radish, mustard, mayonnaise and chutney. Roll each bread slice with a rolling pin to flatten. Spread one side of each with 2 tablespoons cream cheese mixture and top with 1 tablespoon sausage. Place 2 asparagus spears in the middle of each prepared bread slice and roll up. Place each roll, seam side down, on a baking sheet and brush lightly with butter.

Step 3Sprinkle with paprika and bake for 12 minutes, until golden. So good!
