I love blackened seasonings on meats like salmon, chicken or even steak so I thought I would give the tomato a try too. Wow, this made wonderful sandwiches for lunch packed full of flavor and cheezy bites of goodness. My husband & I really enjoyed these and with some sliced apples on the side it makes for a nice compliment to this cheezy and savory sandwich. The tomatoes are best when prepared on the grill. Some of your blackened seasonings smoke so you have to do it on the grill outside and not in the house. The one's I have in the pic below can be used inside. Hope you enjoy.
