Ingredients
- 3 pounds cabbage, cut into wedges
- 1 - red onion, sliced 1/4"-thick
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup stout beer
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tablespoon packed light brown sugar
- 6 slices cooked bacon, cut into 1"-pieces
How To Make beer-braised cabbage

Step 1Arrange oven racks in center and lower thirds of oven. Heat oven to 350.

Step 2In deep roasting pan, combine cabbage, onion, celery seeds, salt and pepper. In bowl, combine beer and brown sugar. Drizzle beer mix over cabbage.

Step 3Cover pan tightly w/ foil. Bake on lower rack for 1-1/2 hrs or until cabbage is tender. Using a slotted spoon, transfer cabbage mix to serving platter. Sprinkle w/ bacon bits.
