Ingredients
- 2 pounds fresh mushrooms (cut large ones in half)
- 1/2 pound butter (not margarine)
- 1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 clove fresh garlic, diced
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
How To Make baked mushrooms
-
Step 1Boil all ingredients but the mushrooms until onions are soft. Put mushrooms in a baking dish and pour sauce over them.
-
Step 2Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Stir occasionally.
-
Step 3I make the sauce ahead and refrigerate it. Then I microwave the sauce, pour over the mushrooms and bake. I sometimes, cut the butter in half to save some calories.
-
Step 4I know you will enjoy this. It is great served over the beef.
