This recipe has been in the family for years. Just wonderful served with an oven roast of beef. Hope you all love it.

Ingredients For baked mushrooms

2 lbfresh mushrooms (cut large ones in half)

1/2 lbbutter (not margarine)

1 Tbspworchestershire sauce

1 mdonion, diced

1 tspsalt

1 clovefresh garlic, diced

1/4 tsppepper
How To Make baked mushrooms

1Boil all ingredients but the mushrooms until onions are soft. Put mushrooms in a baking dish and pour sauce over them.

2Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Stir occasionally.

3I make the sauce ahead and refrigerate it. Then I microwave the sauce, pour over the mushrooms and bake. I sometimes, cut the butter in half to save some calories.
