Add to Grocery List

  • 2 lb
fresh mushrooms (cut large ones in half)
  • 1/2 lb
    butter (not margarine)
  • 1 Tbsp
    worchestershire sauce
  • 1 medium
    onion, diced
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 clove
    fresh garlic, diced
  • 1/4 tsp

How to Make Baked Mushrooms

  1. Boil all ingredients but the mushrooms until onions are soft. Put mushrooms in a baking dish and pour sauce over them.
  2. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  3. I make the sauce ahead and refrigerate it. Then I microwave the sauce, pour over the mushrooms and bake.
I sometimes, cut the butter in half to save some calories.
  4. I know you will enjoy this. It is great served over the beef.
