avocado tomato & broccoli slaw
This slaw is so easy to make and my family loves it when I serve it as a side dish for burgers, barbecue, or seafood. If I don't have walnuts available, pecans work just as well.

Ingredients
- 12 ounces pkg. broccoli slaw mix
- 2 tablespoons minced purple onion
- 10 small grape tomatoes, halved
- 2 small (or 1 large) avocados, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch chunks
- 2 tablespoons chopped toasted walnuts
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste

Step 1In a large bowl gently toss together slaw mix, onion, tomatoes, avocados, and walnuts.

Step 2In a small bowl, stir together mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, celery seed, and salt. Spoon over slaw and stir in gently just until combined.

Step 3Cover and chill for 20-30 minutes before serving. Serves 4.
