Ingredients
- 2 slices canadien bacon, cut into 1"-pieces
- 4 ounces reduced-fat, chunky cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon freeze-dried dill
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon each of salt & pepper
- 8 cups organic mixed lettuce, such as olivia's
- 1 large gala apple, cored, cut into 1/2"-wedges.
How To Make autumn smokey apple & cheddar salad.

Step 1In lg skillet, over med-high heat, Cook bacon until crisp, drain on paper towels. Cut cheddar cheese into small chunks. In lg bowl, whisk together oil, vinegar, dill, onion, sugar, salt and pepper. Add lettuce mix, apple and bacon. Toss gently to coat. Sprinkle w/ cheddar cheese.
