- 3-5 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon za'atar spice, or to taste
- - kosher salt, to taste
- 1 lemon, cut in half
How To Make asparagus with a middle eastern touch

Step 1Preheat oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2Break the woody ends off the asparagus spears. Spread the asparagus on the baking sheet and squeeze half the lemon over the spears. Then drizzle the olive oil over the spears and toss to coat. Sprinkle with salt and Za'atar

Step 3Roast in the oven for about thirty minutes, stirring once during cooking, until they are done to your liking - depending on how thick the asparagus is.

Step 4Remove from oven and squeeze remaining lemon over before serving.
