This is a healthy side dish, and looks impressive also as an appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 12 sprigs fresh rosemary**
  • 12 - young asparagus spears
  • 12 slices proscuitto ham, sliced thin
  • - olive oil cooking spray
  • - homemade aioli (link is below in comments)

How To Make asparagus w/proscuitto (sallye)

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400º Line baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with olive oil cooking spray
  • Step 2
    Wrap one slice of proscuitto around one asparagus spear, starting at bottom and spiraling to top Tie each bundle with a rosemary sprig **you can substitute fresh basil or oregano or thyme if you don't have rosemary**
  • Step 3
    Place each bundle on baking sheet in a single layer Place in oven and bake for 5 minutes Remove from oven and carefully turn bundles over, return to oven Bake for about 5 more minutes until proscuitto is crisp
  • Step 4
    Plate and serve immediately with a collop of homemade aioli
