Yummy Crispy Onion Rings

3 ccooking oil
1 call purpose flour
1 tspbaking powder
1/4 tspcayenne pepper
2 cpanko bread crumbs
1 largeonion , cut into 1/2 in. slices separted in rings
How to Make Yummy Crispy Onion Rings
- In a soup pot over medium heat,heat oil until hot but not smoking.About 350* or you can use a fry daddy
- meanwhile in a med.bowl combine flour,baking powder,salt,and cayene pepper.Whisk in buttermilk and egg.Place breadcrumbs in a shallow dish.
- Dip onion rings into batter then into bread crumbs, until evenly coated on all sides.Place rings in hot oil and cook 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown,turning once.
Remove to a paper towel lined platter.Repeat with remaining onion slices.Serve immediately.
- If desired ,sprinkle with salt before serving.Serve with your favorite dipping sauce..
