Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 2 tablespoons chopped green pepper
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 - eggs slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup finely chopped cashews
- 1/4 cup fine bread crumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
How To Make vegetarian burger loaf by eddie

Step 1Melt butter i a skillet. Add onion, celery, green peppers and garlic.

Step 2Cover and cook at medium heat until vegetables are tender, but not browned.

Step 3Combine cooked vegetables and remaining ingredients. Mix by hand until well blended.

Step 4Pour mixture into a greased small loaf pan or into a greased baking pan.

Step 5Bake. at 375 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes.

Step 6Allow loaf to cool 5 minutes for easier slicing.

Step 7Serve with mushrooms or tomato sauce. Serves 6.
