sweet and sour winter squash

Ingredients
- 1 medium blue hubbard or any winter squash
- 1/4 pound brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cidre vinegar
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tablespoon dried mint leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
How To Make sweet and sour winter squash

Step 1Precook halved squash cut side down 10 minutes in 350 degree oven.

Step 2Slice garlic paper thin heat in oil until golden, but not brown. Discard garlic save oil.

Step 3Add vinegar, brown sugar, salt, and mint leaves to pan cook down about a third.

Step 4Peel squash cut into bite size chunks put in a baking dish pour liquid over squash.

Step 5Bake 10 minutes stir thoroughly bake another 10 minutes . Refrigerate serve warm or cold.
