Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 can (15.5 oz.) kidney beans, drained
- 2 - chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
- 2 cups quick cooking brown rice, uncooked
How To Make super quick rice with kidney beans

Step 1In a large skillet on medium heat, saute bell pepper and onions in butter until tender, stirring frequently.

Step 2Stir in water, kidney beans, chicken bouillon and hot sauce. Bring to a boil. Stir in the rice and cover.

Step 3Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Serve immediately. This can either be a main dish with a salad and rolls, or it can be a side dish accompanying the meat of your choice.
