- 1 small head of cabbage
- 1/2 - onion
- 3 slices bacon
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- - salt/pepper
How To Make sauteed cabbage with bacon

Step 1dice onions and cut up bacon into small pieces.. add to a large skillet on med-high...rendering the bacon, add onions and saute a few minutes.

Step 2cut up cabbage in big chunks, add in and continue sauteing a few more minutes...add 1/4 cup of chicken broth, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper.

Step 3cover and put on low until cabbage gets soft but not mushy....about 20 mins....the bacon and onions flavor the entire dish.
