Ingredients

  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • Dash - pink salt (to taste)
  • Dash - pepper (to taste)
  • Handful - oregano, fresh, no stems.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Handful - mint, fresh

How To Make sautéed asparagus

  • Step 1
Prepare the asparagus by nipping off the bottom, or breaking the stem in half near the bottom.
  • Step 2
Add oil to pan. Heat on medium-high. Be sure not to get the oil too hot, as it burns easily. Add the Asparagus, turmeric, salt, pepper, oregano, and garlic to pan.
  • Step 3
Cook until outer part of the asparagus is tender, and the inner part still crispy. Serve with a mint leaf on top.
