Ingredients

  • 1 bunch
    asparagus
  • 1/4 tsp
    turmeric
  • Dash
    pink salt (to taste)
  • Dash
    pepper (to taste)
  • Handful
    oregano, fresh, no stems.
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • Handful
    mint, fresh

How to Make Sautéed Asparagus

Step-by-Step

  1. Prepare the asparagus by nipping off the bottom, or breaking the stem in half near the bottom.
  2. Add oil to pan. Heat on medium-high. Be sure not to get the oil too hot, as it burns easily. Add the Asparagus, turmeric, salt, pepper, oregano, and garlic to pan.
  3. Cook until outer part of the asparagus is tender, and the inner part still crispy. Serve with a mint leaf on top.
