japanese coleslaw
My husband found this in an old DOS recipe program years ago, and I found it (with a different name) at Food.com. It is a delicious alternative to regular coleslaw!

Ingredients
- FOR THE SLAW
- 1 - head of cabbage, sliced & rough chop
- 4-5 - green onions, chopped
- 4 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 4 tablespoons almonds, slivered
- 2 packages ramen noodles
- FOR THE DRESSING
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 cup oil (less 2 tbsp)
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 6 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
How To Make japanese coleslaw

Step 1Mix dressing and marinate sliced cabbage and chopped onions for approximately 4 hours.

Step 2Toast sesame seeds, almonds and Ramen noodles on cookie sheet at 400 degrees.

Step 3Toss toasted items into marinated cabbage just before serving.
