Grilled Broccoli & Mushrooms with Lemons

2 bunch
broccoli, fresh, cut into large spears
6 large
white mushrooms, halved
lemons, quartered
2 Tbsp
olive oil, extra virgin, plus more for extra drizzle
1/2 - 1 tsp
kosher salt (or sea salt)
1/2 tsp
cracked pepper, fresh ground
1/2 tsp
red pepper flakes, more or less to taste

How to Make Grilled Broccoli & Mushrooms with Lemons


  • 1Combine all ingredients in a large ziplock bag (or bowl with secure lid)
  • 2Gently toss, turning bag to coat all pieces well
  • 3Place directly on grill, or you can use a veggie grilling pan with holes so no pieces fall through.
  • 4Grill until just cooked to crisp-tender, but not charred. About 20-30 minutes when set off center of heat.
  • 5Place in serving bowl and squeeze 2-4 of the lemon slices over the broccoli & mushrooms, then drizzle with a bit more olive oil. Toss & serve.
