My kids love these. They are so yummy! If you love mushrooms and swiss you'll love his awesome side dish. Or stick mushrooms with toothpicks and serve as an appetizer.

  • 32
    button mushrooms, stems trimmed back (not removed)
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 stick
    butter, softened
  • 3 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    white wine
  • ·
    salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 c
    dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c
    grated swiss cheese
  • 1 tsp
    dried parsley flakes

How to Make Garlic-Swiss Mushrooms


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Arrange mushrooms stem side up in a glass baking dish.
  3. Meanwhile, blend together softened butter, white wine, parsley, garlic together.
  4. spoon a bit of the butter mixture over each mushroom. Sprinkle each mushroom with bread crumbs.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven; top each mushroom with a pinch of grated Swiss cheese. Return to oven and bake another 3-5 minutes or just until cheese melts.
