  • 2 cups fresh lima beans, about 1 pound
  • 4 cups fresh corn, cut from cob, about 8 ears
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

How To Make easy succotash

  • Step 1
    Cook lima beans in boiling salted water to cover for 15 minutes or until almost tender; drain. Add remaining ingredients, stir well. Cook, uncovered over low heat 8-10 minutes or until corn is done; stirring often. Makes 6 servings.
