Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon ( i use turkey bacon)
- 1 medium vidalia or sweet onion, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (or sugar twin if diabetic)
- 1/4 cup kc masterpiece honey teriyaki bbq sauce
- 1 cup dr. pepper soda
- 1 large can 16-20 oz. size bush's baked beans
How To Make dr. pepper bbq baked beans

Step 1Prheat oven to 375*; in a large skillet, on medium heat brown the bacon pieces, until bottom of pan is coated with bacon grease.

Step 2Add the onion and pepper and saute until transparent, and pepper is soft. Add the brown sugar;and stir until sugar melts.

Step 3Add the BBQ sauce; DR. Pepper and beans and stir all together well. Pour into a shallow baking pan and top with 2-3 more slices of uncooked bacon. Bake for 45-1 hour time or until bacon on top is browned and crisp! Enjoy!
