Ingredients
- 8-10 - parsnips, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- - boiling water
- 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 - egg, beaten
- 1/3 cup fine bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
How To Make crumb-coated parsnip patties

Step 1Peel and cube parsnips and cook in boiling salted water until tender. Drain and mash. Beat in seasonings and egg. Add bread crumbs. Chill well. Make into 6 patties. Cover with additional bread crumbs and fry in melted butter until golden brown on both sides. Makes 6 servings.
