  • 8 - parsnips-about 1 1/2 lbs.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped

How To Make buttered parsnips

  • Step 1
    Pare the parsnips and quarter. Split in half lengthwise. Place in a kettle with salted water to cover. Simmer until tender, drain. Pour melted butter over parsnips in a serving dish.Sprinkle with parsley and serve. Makes 6 servings.
