Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup bacon bits, optional
  • 2 tablespoons frozen concentrated orange juice,undiluted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups minute brown rice, uncooked
  • 12 ounces package chopped broccoli pieces, frozen
  • 1 small onion chopped in medium pieces
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers, any color, frozen
  • to taste - salt and pepper

How To Make brown rice with vegetables and teriyaki sauce

  • Step 1
    In a medium kettle or pot add the water and teriyaki sauce; stir. Bring to a boil. Stir in remaining ingredients. Return to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat Let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork..Great with any entrée.
