chicken broth

red wine vinegar

brown sugar

bayleaf
salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Braised red cabbage and apples

Step-by-Step

  • 1In lg saucepan, over medium heat, heat oil. Add onion and cook 5 mins, stirring. Stir in cabbage, garlic and apples.
  • 2Cook, stirrin often for 5-8 mins, or until cabbage wilts. Stir in chicken broth, vinegar, sugar and bayleasf.
  • 3Reduce heat. Cover, simmer, stirring occasionaly, 45 mins. Remove bayleaf. season w/ salt and pepper.
