I don't know how many of you remember the show called F Troop. It was a long time ago. But Larry Storrch had this recipe. I made it a little better. We love to make this when camping. But I make this a lot at home also. Hop you enjoy this.

Ingredients
- 1 14oz cans cream-style corn
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
- 3/4 cup butter milk
- 1/2 cup corn oil
- 2 - large eggs. i have used duck eggs.
- 1 teaspoon each, baking soda and salt.
- 1/3 tablespoon chopped parsley and thyme to taste.
- 1 4oz cans diced green chilies
- 1 cup shreded colby jack cheese, can use chedder cheese.
- 1 tablespoon paprika

Step 1Preheat oven to 400. In a bowl mix bacon cheese chilies and paprika mix well and set a side. In another mixing bowl, mix every thing else together. Grease a 6x8 baking dish put 1/2 of the batter. Then top with cheese mixture. Pour remaining batter on top. sprinkle a little paprika on top Bake at 400 for 30-35 minutes. serve warm
