I got a good deal on minute rice that I just couldn't pass up. So now the challenge is how to make it so that it doesn't taste like minute rice (: This recipe worked very well and you can play with it adding all of your favorite veggies and broth flavorings. Southern Food With Flare

Ingredients
- 2 slices bacon, finely diced
- 1/4 cup onion, finely diced
- 1/2 cup chard, sliced
- 2 ounces angel hair pasta, dry broken into 1 inch pieces
- 1 cup minute rice
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make bacon and chard quick rice

Step 1In a medium skillet cook bacon until done about 7 minutes. Remove from skillet and add onion and angel hair pasta. Cook until pasta is golden.

Step 2Add rice, chard, and chicken broth. Cook for 7 minutes until pasta is cooked.

Step 3Return bacon and stir to combine. Enjoy!
