Ingredients
- 8 ounces macaroni
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- - black pepper to taste
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs buttered
How To Make classic baked mac and cheese

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Step 2Cook macaroni and drain

Step 3Melt butter and stir in flour and salt and pepper. Blend well.

Step 4Pour in milk and cream stirring constantly for about 2 minutes

Step 5Stir in cheese and transfer macaroni into buttered baking dish.

Step 6Sprinkle with bread crumbs

Step 7Bake for 20 to 30 minutes until top is golden brown. Enjoy!
