This rice is perfect with fish,chicken,veal,lamb or whatever you want to serve it with!! :)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice, long grain,uncooked
  • 1/4 cup quinoa,red,uncooked(you can find this in the organics section of your supermarket or at a health food store)
  • 1/2 small sweet potatoes,shredded
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

How To Make "nice rice"

  • Very unique side dish! :)
    Step 1
    Combine the rice with the red quinoa and cook it in two and a quarter cups of water,add the salt and the olive oil when it begins to boil. Lower to simmer,slightly covered for twenty minutes.

    Step 2
    Remove from heat,add the shredded sweet potato,fluff the rice with a fork and add the two tablespoons of butter,cover and let it sit for ten minutes before serving. Fluff again before serving,enjoy!! :)
