Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked wild rice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon grated onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground sage
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground thyme

How To Make herbed wild rice

  • Step 1
    Rinse wild rice thoroughly in running water. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Drain and rinse. Cover with water again, add salt and simmer until tender, about 30 minutes. Drain and rinse in hot water. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Makes 6-8 servings.
