Ingredients
- 4 large sweet potatoes
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 pinch salt
How To Make grandma katherine's sweet potatoes

Step 1Peel, cook and whip potatoes. Add all ingredients from listed ingredients above, mix and place in a 1 1/2 - 2 quart round baking dish.

Step 2Candied topping - 1 stick butter melted, 1cup brown sugar, 3 tablespoons flour, 1 cup chopped pecans. Mix and spread over top of potatoes.

Step 3Bake in a 350 degree oven uncovered for 30 minutes. Walnuts can be substituted for pecans. These potatoes (leaving off the candied topping) are delicious for an everyday side dish.
