Not only is this a perfect veggie dish for Thanksgiving turkey dinner this unexpected combination is so tasty. It makes a wonderful fall or winter side dish with any meat. Make ahead and re-worm in the microwave just before serving. Letting is set over night brings out the flavors.

Ingredients

sweet potatoes
1/4 stick
butter
1/4 c
olive oil
2 clove
garlic, minced
1/2 tsp
paprika
1/4 tsp
kosher salt
1/2 tsp
liquid smoke flavoring
1/2 tsp
parsley flakes
1/2 tsp
red pepper flakes
1 dash(es)
pepper

How to Make Garlic Roasted Sweet potatoes

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 375° F
  • 2Peel and cut sweet potatoes into medium chunks.
  • 3In a medium size stainless still bowl melt the butter add garlic sauté till the garlic becomes aromatic.
  • 4Add the spices and toss in the potatoes and cote evenly.
  • 5Transfer into a baking dish. Bake covered loosely with aluminum foil for 30 min. then mix it around remove foil and bake for 20-30 min. more.
