I call this my 'when that's all ya got beans' recipe. And their surprisingly delicious.

Ingredients
- 1 package pinto beans, dried
- 1 large red onion
- 1/2 pound sausage
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 cup k.c. masterpiece or kraft honey barbeque sauce
- 1/2 cup sriracha hot chili sauce
- 4-10 cups water
- Dashes - cayenne pepper
- 4-5 - segments of a garlic
How To Make the frugal gourmet barbeque beans

Step 1rinse, drain and sort beans. place in stainless steel pot fill w/ water, bring to boil, cook 3-4 min. Turn heat off to soak water into beans for 1 hr.

Step 2Chop onion, then set aside to add later. Thaw sausage. fry when thawed. set aside for later.

Step 3Cook beans on slow boil for 1 hr. Or so Adding water throughout process. fry sausage then add onion. Combine w/cooked beans, add garlic segments, stirring add sauces and cayenne. (Chili powder and bell peppers, optional)

Step 4If a more thicken Barbeque Beans are desired just place into your crock pot on low heat until desired consistency.
