1/2 c
butter
1 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 c
evaporated milk
1 3/4 - 2 c
powdered sugar
1 c
chopped walnuts

How to Make Quick Walnut Panuche

Step-by-Step

  • 1In medium size saucepan, over low heat, cook brown sugar and butter, stirring constantly for 2 minutes.
  • 2Add the evaporated milk and continue, stirring, until mixture boils. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  • 3Butter a small square pan and set aside. When cooled, add the powdered sugar and stir well with a wooden spoon until it reaches the consistency of fudge. Add the nuts. Then press into the buttered pan. Chill. Cut into squares and eat. Sooo good!!
