lime-cilantro cole slaw

I love cilantro and found this recipe. I can't take credit for creating it but it's so good, I had to pass it on since I love home-made cole slaw.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups chopped cabbage
  • 1 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon course salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons olive or canola oil

How To Make lime-cilantro cole slaw

  • Step 1
    I used my Oscar food chopper to chop the cabbage and cilantro together. You can chop the cilantro with the stems and all.
  • Step 2
    Then just add all the other ingredients and refrigerate.
  • Step 3
    I prefer Canola Oil (good one, no solvents) so that the taste of olive oil doesn't take over from the taste of the cilantro and lime and orange juice. Depends on your preference.
