I love cilantro and found this recipe. I can't take credit for creating it but it's so good, I had to pass it on since I love home-made cole slaw.

Ingredients

  • 6 c
    chopped cabbage
  • 1 c
    chopped cilantro
  • 1 tsp
    course salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/4 c
    fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 c
    fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive or canola oil

How to Make Lime-Cilantro Cole Slaw

Step-by-Step

  1. I used my Oscar food chopper to chop the cabbage and cilantro together. You can chop the cilantro with the stems and all.
  2. Then just add all the other ingredients and refrigerate.
  3. I prefer Canola Oil (good one, no solvents) so that the taste of olive oil doesn't take over from the taste of the cilantro and lime and orange juice.
    Depends on your preference.
