Worked in an Italian restaurant for about a year loved Italian food, my boss was an Italian named Lewie what a riot he was,well any way this is how he taught me to make green beans. Never could figure out why they call it sweet basil is not sweet at all.

Ingredients For lewie's italian grean beans

  • 1/2 lb
    fresh green beans (blanched)
  • 2 clove
    garlic (minced)
  • 4 sm
    roma tomatoes (diced)
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 tsp
    sweet basil
  • 1/2 tsp
    oregano, ground

How To Make lewie's italian grean beans

    Add oil to sauté pan heat slightly add sweet basil and oregano. stir cook about 1 second.

    Add garlic, green beans, and tomatoes mix well warm through.Serve!
