When I make tacos, I like to brown the meat with some onions and garlic, and then add this particular combination of ingredients. It really kicks up the flavor of the ground beef. Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano, dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt, kosher variety
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground.

How To Make andy's taco seasoning

  • Step 1
    Gather your ingredients.
  • Step 2
    Thoroughly combine all the ingredients together in a bowl, and then add to the cooking ground beef.
  • Step 3
    Chef's Note: This should be enough to flavor about 1.5 pounds of ground beef, or TVP.
  • Step 4
    Keep the faith, and keep cooking.
