When I make tacos, I like to brown the meat with some onions and garlic, and then add this particular combination of ingredients. It really kicks up the flavor of the ground beef. Ingredients For andy's taco seasoning

  • 1 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1/2 tsp
    paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1 tsp
    salt, kosher variety
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper, freshly ground.

How To Make andy's taco seasoning

    Gather your ingredients.

    Thoroughly combine all the ingredients together in a bowl, and then add to the cooking ground beef.

    Chef's Note: This should be enough to flavor about 1.5 pounds of ground beef, or TVP.
