When I make tacos, I like to brown the meat with some onions and garlic, and then add this particular combination of ingredients. It really kicks up the flavor of the ground beef.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1/2 tsp
    paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1 tsp
    salt, kosher variety
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper, freshly ground.

How to Make Andy's Taco Seasoning

Step-by-Step

  1. Gather your ingredients.
  2. Thoroughly combine all the ingredients together in a bowl, and then add to the cooking ground beef.
  3. Chef's Note: This should be enough to flavor about 1.5 pounds of ground beef, or TVP.
  4. Keep the faith, and keep cooking.
