Ingredients
- 3 medium yellow squash
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup fine bread crumbs
- 1/3 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1 - egg beaten or egg substitute
How To Make yellow squash casserole

Step 1Cook squash and onion in small amount of salted water until tender, Drain. Add bread crumbs [save one spoonful for top} Add cheese, egg,salt, and 2T. butter. Spoon into greased casserole. Top with remaining bread crumbs and dot with 2T of butter. Bake in 350 degrees for 25 minutes
