  • 1/2 lb
    bacon, cooked,and crumbled
  • 2 16oz can(s)
    cream-style corn
  • 2
    large eggs
  • 3/4 c
    yellow cornmeal
  • 1 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 3 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 3 Tbsp
    bacon drippings
  • 1 4oz can(s)
    green chilies,chopped finely.
  • 2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded

How to Make Tucson Corn Bake..


  1. Pre-heat oven to 350... In a skillet cook bacon till chrisp. Crumble bacon and set a side. Reserve 3 tablespoons of drippings.
  2. Mix all ingrediente except chilies cheese and bacon.
    Place 1/2 of the mix in a 8 inch sguare baking dish.
    mix chilies,cheese,and bacon together and spread over corn mixture...
    Cover with remanining corn mix.
    Bake uncovered for 35 minutes....Serve warm...
