Tucson Corn Bake..
I did change things up a little..
1/2 lbbacon, cooked,and crumbled
2 16oz can(s)cream-style corn
3/4 cyellow cornmeal
1 tspgarlic salt
3 Tbspvegetable oil
3 Tbspbacon drippings
1 4oz can(s)green chilies,chopped finely.
2 ccheddar cheese, shredded
How to Make Tucson Corn Bake..
- Pre-heat oven to 350... In a skillet cook bacon till chrisp. Crumble bacon and set a side. Reserve 3 tablespoons of drippings.
- Mix all ingrediente except chilies cheese and bacon.
Place 1/2 of the mix in a 8 inch sguare baking dish.
mix chilies,cheese,and bacon together and spread over corn mixture...
Cover with remanining corn mix.
Bake uncovered for 35 minutes....Serve warm...
