This recipe allows you to use a bread you make yourself from what ever flour, eggs or sub for egg, all while allowing you to also adjust the actual spices to suit your family

  • IN A QT MASON JAR ADD THE FOLLOWING
  • 3 1/2 cups bread cubes dried. (made from your own special recipe or any store bought)
  • IN A SNACK SIZE BAGGIE ADD THE FOLLOWING
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
  • 4 tablespoons chicken bouillon granules
  • 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage, dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 tsp dried minced garlic

    In a clean mason jar place the bread cubes and shake a little to fill spaces. Add the snack baggie of spices and recap lable and decorate as wanted. attach tag saying:

    Homemade Stuffing. In a bowl add the dried bread crumbs, Add the spices, add 3 tablespoons soft butter and 1 cup boiling water, mix well. wait 5 minutes to allow the crumbs to soak up the water and stuff the turkey as you normally would.

    These are wonderful in a thanksgiving basket or a Xmas basket with homemade jellies, chutneys, other cannned products and maybe a card for a turkey at a store near them.
