Sausage & apple stuffing w/ sage & cranberries
Ingredients

2 slicethick whole wheat bread, cut into cubes

1/4 cchicken broth

1 largeegg, lightly beaten

2shallots, finely chopped

1 Tbspfresh sage, chopped

1 lbbulk pork sausage
-
1granny smith apple, peeled, shredded

·salt and pepper to taste

·a handful of cranberries for garnish
How to Make Sausage & apple stuffing w/ sage & cranberries
- Heat oven to 350. Spray a lg casserole dish w/ cooking spray. Place bread cubes in a bowl, sprinkle bread w/ broth. Let sit 5 mins. Mash bread w/ a fork. Stir in egg.
- Stir in shallots and sage. Add crumbled sausage and apple. Season w/ salt and pepper. Spoon mix into casserole dish.
- Bake 30-45 mins, or until top is browned nicely, and sausage is cooked through. Garnish w/ cranberries, sprinkled over top of casserole.
