mushroom and rice casserole
I have had this recipe for about 35 years ,I original got it off the label of a National Store soup can ...I some times add a few sautéed shrimp ..The small to medium frozen ones

Ingredients
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 2 cups chicken broth (i used caned)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- - pepper to taste
- 1 can mushrooms drained and rinsed (8 oz)
- 4 tablespoons butter or margarine

Step 1Combine all ingredients in 2 quart buttered casserole .Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour ..
