mushroom and rice casserole

I have had this recipe for about 35 years ,I original got it off the label of a National Store soup can ...I some times add a few sautéed shrimp ..The small to medium frozen ones

Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth (i used caned)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • - pepper to taste
  • 1 can mushrooms drained and rinsed (8 oz)
  • 4 tablespoons butter or margarine

How To Make mushroom and rice casserole

  • Step 1
    Combine all ingredients in 2 quart buttered casserole .Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour ..
