Ingredients
- 1 pound pork sausage
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 cups sliced potatoes, fresh
- 1/2 pound sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- butter
How To Make layered sausage-potato casserole

Step 1Add sausage to a non-stick skillet and brown -- drain well on paper towels.

Step 2In a bowl, combine soup, milk, onion, salt and pepper and mix well.

Step 3In a prepared casserole dish, add a layer of potatoes, soup mixture and sausage. Repeat layers ending with sausage.

Step 4Dot top with butter and bake at 350 degrees for approx. 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 hours. Ten minutes before casserole is done, sprinkle with grated cheese and return to the oven until cheese is melted.
