pork & beans, 1 lb. each can
1/4 c
brown sugar
1 tsp
dry mustard
1/2 c
6 slice
cooked bacon, diced

How to Make Grandma McDaniel's Baked Beans


  • 1Preheat oven to 325*.

    Place one can of baked beans in 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.
  • 2Combine dry mustard with brown sugar. Sprinkle HALF evenly over baked beans.
  • 3Add second can of baked beans, and top with remaining brown sugar mixture.
  • 4Dot ketchup over top of second layer of beans. Place diced bacon on top of that.
  • 5Bake uncovered for 2 1/2 hrs. You can stir to distribute ingredients half way through cooking.
