This is a family favorite even though it takes time, it's worth it. They freeze well also. It's hearty and made with ground beef also. Great on dogs and burgers too.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds ground beef
  • 1 pound bacon chopped
  • 1 - large vidalia onion chopped
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 - bottle ketchup (36 oz.)
  • 1 - bottle of barbecue sauce (Jack Daniel's smokehouse 12oz.size)
  • 4 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 cup dark molasses
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 - large can kidney beans (2lb.9oz)
  • 1 - large can pork and beans (2lb.9oz)
  • 1 - large can butter beans (2lb.9oz)
  • 1 - large can great northern beans (2lb.9oz.)

How To Make four bean baked beans with ground beef by rose

  • Step 1
    Cut up bacon and brown; save drippings. Add onion and brown. Add ground beef and brown.
  • Step 2
    Mix all together and make sure the ground beef is separated and thoroughly through all the ingredients.
  • Step 3
    Add all of the other ingredients (minus the beans) and mix.
  • Step 4
    Open all beans, remove liquid from beans and mix the above ingredients gently through the beans thoroughly.
  • Step 5
    Bake at 350 for 2 hours.
  • Step 6
    Let settle at least 1 hour before serving so flavors meld together. This recipe freezes well in any amount.
