Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons reduced fat margarine
  • 3/4 cup converted rice
  • 3/4 cup brown rice
  • 1 large carrot, shredded
  • 1 - zucchini, sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 can (14.5 oz )chicken broth

How To Make crock-pot vegatable rice

  • Step 1
    Lightly grease Crock-Pot with 1 teaspoon margarine.
  • Step 2
    Saute white rice with remaining margarine in skillet over med-high heat til rice is golden brown.Stir in brown rice and saute 3 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Combine with all remaining ingredients into Crock-Pot.
  • Step 4
    Cover; cook on low 6-8 hours.
